Voices…

They will hear you and applaud

As long as you conform…

Stay in the line little lady!

Don’t give your opinions any shapes…

Form a circle if you wish…

Keep your words, your voice inside it…

Where it will swivel and swirl…

Rising and ebbing

Awakening fires of change… strength…

But…

Hush little lady!

Keep that voice inside that circle…

So no one outside of it will feel lesser because of it…

Keep your voice down…

So you don’t create any ripples…

People get uncomfortable when straight lines get curvy…

Quiet down harsh mouth!

Don’t bellow louder than the wind…

For the wind will carry your voice,

And bring back rain to dampen the fire inside that circle…

Let the word decide your shapes…

And then dance to it…

Throwing only shapes that they understand….

Your circle will remain warm…

And your fire will shield you from the sharpness with which they could cut your tongue…

Walk a mile with the voiceless cattle little lady…

And soon you’ll hear applause…

See they love you, now that you’ve confirmed.
